After two years of audio release ‘Home Stay’ a multilingual film is back with a big fight in the censor. The film by Santosh Kondonkeri is ready to appear on silver screen in three languages – Kannada, Hindi and Tamil. In Kannada and Hindi it is ‘Home Stay’ but in Tamil it is ‘Digil’. The film has three different first prints. Six days of additional shoot after 25 days of shoot was done for the film of course looking at the nativity.

Santosh speaking on the trouble faced from censor in Bengaluru stated that he had to meet Pahlaj Nihalani with laptop on the censor portions and get approval for the revising committee to certify the film.

With cuts the regional censor in Bengaluru has given ‘A’ certificate. The Hindi and Tamil version just straightaway gave U/A certificate. The running around this certificate consumed nearly eight months and Rs.1 crore was additional burden on the film says Santosh. This is nearly Rs.5 crore three language film and there is no cheating with the shots claims Santosh.

Shruthi is the trump card of this film. Sayyali Bhagat is lead heroine. There are 12 interesting thrilling factors observes Santosh.

It is a happening of one day of one person in ‘Home Stay’ - Santosh Kondonkeri is from ad film to feature film as director.

 
Sayyali Bhagat is the main stay of this ‘Home Stay’ Kannada cinema. Shruthi, Ravi Kale, Ashok and others are in the cast of this film made in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi. Four cameramen have worked for this trilingual film.
